- Joy of skiing
The cradle of skiing is definitely not in Narvik, but the small town at the end of the Ofotfjord is definitively made for skiing.
Narvik is perhaps best known for the railway, the iron ore and the large steep ski hill in the middle of the town, but the mountains around have so much more to offer.
Here we find steep, pointed peaks, just in between the fjords and Sweden. Stetinden, Norway's national mountain, is one of them. We find long and majestic glaciers, with snow well into the summer. The Northern Lights dances above us when we ride powder snow in magical January. The smell of salt water and fresh cod is never far away.
Narvik also offers short urban ski tours straight up from the city, like a Chamonix of the north. If you want a longer adventure, you can also go on spectacular hut-to-hut tours in a more central european style.
Ofoten and Narvik have everything - it's only the imagination that sets limits to our joy - welcome.

We are happy to provide guides who know the area, or recommend you to local, skilled guides. Welcome to the north
Hamarøy & Steigen - this hidden gem in the middle of Knut Hamsun's kingdom has everything you need - culture, mighty mountains and good food.
Senja - the magical island. Adventure island. Dear child, many names. Senja is a personal favorite with us, and we have several years of experience guiding here. Senja is like a mix between Lofoten and Lyngen, if you ignore the fact that there are hardly any tourists here.
Lyngen - The Lyngs Alps hardly need any major introduction. These are really Alps, and they are right by the fjord. A magical place to ski.
Tromsø - the capital of Northern Norway has everything you need in a city - good food & drinks, a rich cultural life and an exciting atmosphere. In addition, the city has world-class skiing, right outside the city gate.
Lofoten - Should you go skiing in Lofoten? Its like asking if there is any fish in the sea. The answer is a big fat YES!
